Pom + Annapolis Pride: Joining Forces for a More United Community
Pomerantz Marketing has been working with Annapolis Pride from the very beginning. When a friend approached Kathy Floam-Greenspan, President and Strategy Director of Pomerantz Marketing, about helping create a logo for this newly founded organization, Kathy put her team to work.
Pom created a logo that embodies both the Pride movement and includes a nod to Annapolis. The team also helped refine the organization’s mission and messaging: Annapolis Pride celebrates the LGBTQ+ community, engaging local residents, businesses and groups to unite in welcoming and embracing diversity in Annapolis.
With logo and mission in hand, Annapolis Pride launched in May 2018. Since then, they’ve rapidly grown to over 4,500 followers on Facebook and have sponsored, attended and hosted many community events. They continue to grow and are looking forward to launching the first ever Annapolis Pride Festival and Parade in June 2019.
Through strategy, graphic design, branding and more, the Pomerantz team has had so much fun working with this organization and look forward to all that is ahead.
