
Meet the New POM: Streamlined Name, Stronger Site, Same Killer Team
Why the change?
For years, we’ve been known as Pomerantz Marketing, a name rooted in founder Kathy’s maternal grandparents' last name. It gave the agency a sense of credibility and legacy when she launched it in her twenties. The runner-up name at the time? “Splash Marketing.” (Yes, really.) We all dodged a bullet there.
Fast forward 25+ years, and Pomerantz evolved into something bigger, stronger, and punchier. We’ve built an agile powerhouse team that delivers real marketing firepower to some of the most critical industries out there—government & defense contracting, construction and critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT & managed services, SaaS & cloud solutions, and more.
But our brand? It wasn’t keeping up. So we did what we do best: we rebranded.
Why we rebranded
Our brand no longer reflected the caliber of our work or the industries we serve. We needed a name and visual identity that matched the momentum we deliver for our clients every day.
The new POM reflects who we are today: bold, strategic, and built for growth. It’s sharper, cleaner, and more aligned with the kinds of companies we partner with, without losing the personality and edge that set us apart.
From Pomerantz to POM
We shortened our name to POM Marketing—a nod to where we came from, but simplified and modernized. The new name reflects who we are today: sharp, strategic, and built for B2B growth.
We simplified our logo, updated our tone, and made sure our site actually looked like the kind of marketing agency we are: one that’s been crushing B2B before it was cool and plans to keep doing so.
A note on the process
Rebranding isn’t easy—even for a team that does it professionally. It took strategy, soul-searching, sketching, scrapping, and multiple rounds of “almost there.”
We explored countless directions, pulled inspiration from top B2B agencies, and brought our individual perspectives to the table. It wasn’t always smooth, but it was always collaborative. And it was always grounded in the same goal: to create a brand and site that truly reflect what we bring to the table. We’re proud to say it was worth it.
